A postdoctoral position is immediately available to study barriers to cross-species transmission of primate lentiviruses and to develop a macaque model of HIV-1-induced AIDS.

This position will be expected to work with infectious SIV and HIV-1 under appropriate biosafety conditions and work evenings and weekends as necessary.

Minimum Education A PhD in microbiology, virology, or immunology. Molecular virology preferred.

Minimum Job Experience Prior research experience and skills. Background in retrovirology and molecular biology preferred.
