A postdoctoral position is available for a highly motivated scientist in Dr. Xin Liu’s laboratory at the UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas (http://www.utsouthwestern.edu/fis/faculty/127166/xin-liu.html). The research of the laboratory is focused on the regulation of high-order chromatin organization and its impacts on eukaryotic transcription and human diseases. We are particularly interested in elucidating the molecular and biophysical bases of chromatin dynamics including chromatin loop and heterochromatin formation during transcriptional activation and repression. Applicants with background and interest in structural biology, protein and nucleic acid biochemistry, chromatin and transcription biology, or biophysical methodology are encouraged to apply.
