Postdoctoral Positions Available in Stem Cell and Developmental Neurobiology.

Postdoctoral positions are available in our group (Pierre Vanderhaeghen Lab) to study the development of the human cerebral cortex, from stem cells to neuronal circuits.In our Lab we use a uniquely integrated approach combining molecular tools, human pluripotent stem cells, and mouse developmental neurobiology/genetics (Nature 455 (2008), 351-357; Nature Neurosci.

(2012), 15, 1627-1635; Neuron (2013), 77, 440-456). Our lab is located in Brussels, as a part of the Institute of Interdisciplinary Research (IRIBHM), the largest biomedical Department of University of Brussels (ULB) Medical School, and the newly created ULBNeuroscience Institute.

We are seeking highly motivated individuals with a strong interest in developmental or cellular neurobiology. Previous experience in electrophysiology or live cell imaging would be an asset. Positions are available immediately, but may be filled later in 2014 if necessary.
