The Northwestern Brain Tumor Institute at Northwestern University in Chicago, IL, USA is seeking postdoctoral candidates with outstanding training in molecular biology and stem cell biology. Research projects in the laboratory focus on mechanisms underlying tumorigenesis of brain glioblastoma stem cells (GSC). In particular, we are studying the impact and mechanisms of post-translational modifications (phosphorylation, acetylation and methylation) of regulatory proteins and genomes on cellular signaling, metabolism and tumorigenicity of GSCs. We are also investigating the roles of non-coding RNAs in GSCs.
