The Department of Materials Science is a fast-growing academic unit of the University of Patras aiming to promote the research on modern materials with an outstanding publication record. The University of Patras, Greece is the third largest university in Greece with almost 800 faculty members and more than ten thousand students located in the north part of Pellopenese.
As part of an Excellence Research project, cofunded by the European Union and the Greek state, which is supervised by Dr. Iosif Galanakis a 13 months fully funded postdoctoral position is available which should begin 01 July 2014 the latest. Net salary is about 1600
