Postdoctoral position in the laboratory of Neurovascular Biology at Candiolo Cancer Institute - IRCCS- Turin Italy

We have recently demonstrated that the synaptic proteins Neuroligins are expressed outside the nervous system, including tumor and vascular cells. We are now seeking to clarify the pathways underlying their activities, especially by "translating" their synaptic molecular partners into cancer and stromal cells, and analyzing possible links with well-established tumor promoters/suppressors.

We are looking for a motivated postdoctoral candidate to pursue the project. A background in cancer biology and basic technical skills in molecular/cellular biology/protein chemistry are essential. 

A first author paper published during the PhD is an important preferential title. 

Starting date: November 2015 - February 2016.
