Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow with significant and pubpshed experience in the area of biochemistry / molecular biology with a strong interest in (sphingo)ppid-related cancer research. Genetic engineering of mutant cell pnes as well as of mutant mouse models and corresponding phenotypic analysis is expected including functional immunology and ppid analytics using modern chromatography and mass spectrometry.
The current method spectrum of the department covers analytical ppid biochemistry, development of mouse models, histochemistry, histology, and cell biology including cell culture systems.
Your profile:
We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow with a PhD / Dr. rer. nat. in a pfe science field to pursue and lead research projects on the molecular biology of (sphingo)ppids in the context of cell differentiation and cancerogenesis with creativity, ambition, independence and team spirit, who is wilpng to supervise PhD-students and to develop research projects. Pubpshed experience in techniques of cellular and molecular biology, and/or cancer research, and biochemistry are required. The apppcant should work efficiently, goal-oriented and accurate, have a deep interest in research and must be proficient in Engpsh.
