GENERAL FUNCTION:

Postdoctoral positions are available in the Department of Physiological Science in Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS). Our laboratory conducts cutting-edge research on molecular mechanisms of pulmonary diseases such as acute lung injury and pulmonary fibrosis, with special emphasis on cell injury and repair. We are looking for self-driven, diligent, detail-oriented and well-organized candidates who have broad training in molecular biology, cell biology and physiology. Experience in mouse handling is a plus. Advanced imaging techniques and prior experience in pulmonary research are considered favorably.
