Job Description
| A postdoctoral researcher position is available within a federally and institutionally funded, interdisciplinary team investigating cell-mediated immune modulation of vascularized composite allogeneic (VCA) graft healing and rejection, as well as novel imaging techniques to monitor hand transplant recipients. The project, a collaborative effort between the Christine M. Kleinert Institute for Hand and Microsurgery, Jewish Hospital and the University of Louisville, involves mechanistic studies using experiment and clinical models of VCA transplantation via a number of immunology and bioimaging based assays, of hand transplantation. Graduate training in cellular immunology, with expertise in flow cytometry and immunology assays is highly desirable. The most competitive candidates will also have microsurgical experience.
