What is offered:

1/ Work on the grant project „Mass Spectrometry in Cancer Research: Lipid Biomarkers for Early Diagnostics“ in one of the leading lipidomic groups doing mass spectrometric analysis.

2/ Development of new analytical methods (LC/MS, shotgun MS, MS imaging and ion mobility), the lipidomic analysis of biological samples of tumors, tumor cell lines and body fluids.

3/ Top-class analytical instrumentation in the field of mass spectrometry (MS) and chromatography:

- 5 different configurations of tandem mass spectrometers (linear ion trap - orbitrap, Q-TOF, Q - linear ion trap and spherical ion trap) coupled with (U)HPLC or SFC chromatographic systems, 2 ion mobility systems (TWIMS and DMS),

- MALDI mass spectrometry imaging coupled with orbitrap or Q-TOF analyzer with ion mobility,

- Two-dimensional comprehensive UHPLC coupled with MS/MS,

- Coupling of supercritical fluid chromatography and tandem mass spectrometry (SFC/MS/MS),

- Coupling of gas chromatography and mass spectrometry (GC/MS),

- BSL-2 laboratory for processing of biological materials.
