The Institute wishes to appoint highly qualified candidates for a number of postdoctoral positions. For all positions, applicants should have a doctoral degree in the social sciences, anthropology, geography or related fields.

Currently, the Department is looking to expand its work especially on the following:

Urban Diversity
New Diversities in Africa

Further, we are interested in enhancing our research agendas on political life and diversity and on social interactions in various social milieus and settings.
