Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous, up-to-date records of all experimental design, procedures, and results in a lab notebook.
Data Analysis: Rigorously analyze complex datasets using appropriate statistical and bioinformatics tools.
Manuscript Preparation: Lead the writing and revision of manuscripts for submission to high-impact, peer-reviewed scientific journals.
Presentation: Prepare and present research findings at weekly lab meetings, departmental seminars, and national/international scientific conferences related to neuromuscular diseases or neuroscience.
Grant Writing: Contribute to or lead the preparation of grant proposals (e.g., fellowship applications, foundation grants) to secure independent or collaborative funding.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. degree in neurobiology, molecular genetics, or a related field.
Candidates will be evaluated on: Previous experience with animal models or neurodegeneration disease.
Anticipated Hiring Range
$55,000-$65,000 based upon experience.
